Frequently asked questions
Is EX-OPS a MilSim unit?
No. We are not a MilSim. We are a Private Forces Simulation Unit inspired by real-world PMC, PSC, and private military operations. No roleplay, no reenactment — just strategic, mission-based operations with a focus on realism, discipline, and execution.
What games does EX-OPS play?
We operate primarily in Arma Reforger, but also expand into Ready or Not, Six Days in Fallujah,Grey Zone Warfare and other tactical shooters that support structured team-based operations. We adapt based on mission needs and unit growth.
Do I need experience to join?
No — but you need the right mindset. We value discipline, respect, and willingness to learn over flashy stats. If you show up, pay attention, and follow instructions, we’ll train you to meet the EX-OPS standard.
Is there a minimum activity requirement?
Yes. We expect at least 3 hours per week during the trial phase and continued involvement post-induction. You don’t need to be on daily — but you do need to show consistency and reliability.
How long is the recruitment process?
The full process takes 2 weeks minimum, including application, evaluation, and review. You’ll be assessed on communication, tactical awareness, and integration with the team. Nothing is rushed — everything is earned.
Can I choose my role or assignment?
You can choose your role, but not your assignment. You’ll operate as part of a squadron, and your role follows you across all supported titles—like Ready or Not, Grey Zone Warfare, and more. Once chosen, your role is locked for 30 days.
Is there a rank structure?
Yes, but it’s based on merit and responsibility, not ego or time spent. Ranks are earned through leadership, performance, and commitment — not handed out casually.
What makes EX-OPS different from every other unit?
We’re built by someone who’s lived the real-world PMC life — not imagined it. We don’t tolerate toxicity, drama, or lazy leadership. We focus on trust, teamwork, and purpose. If you're here to play hard, operate smart, and grow with a brotherhood — you're in the right place.
